A pool question....10 pnts!?

Question

My pool, was dark green, we had a tornado hit by our house and lost power for 5 days....well the pool is blue now, but it is cloudy......you can't see the bottom on the shallow end even. does anybody know what to do??? please!!!

Try a shock treatment of acid followed by chlorine. Clean the filter and keep the water aerated.

how does the water smell, gassy? if so, your useing to much chlorine... why r u swimming in water with chemicals?  would u rather swim in 100% chemical free swimming water?  let me know if u want more information.  [e-mail]

I find that when my pool clouds up it is mostly the PH that is out of whack.  Get the test strips and see where your pool stands with the chemicals.  The strips are pretty easy to read and then you can add the chemicals as necessary.  I would also recommend that you clean the filter and let it run non-stop for a few days.  Shock is always good too!

try running the filter 24/7 make sure its clean
