A question about running too long?

I recently started conditioning with my cross country team and right now I am running about 30 minutes every day. I heard running 40 minutes or more puts you at risk of losing muscle? Our coach has us scheduled in july to run 75 minutes will I risk this?

  1. If your coach says its ok, then its ok. coaches arent out to hurt you, listen to waht they say, some things may sound ridiculous, but they know best

  4. well im a soccer player and i run 70 m twice a week so i say no thts not true
