A question about the sclera?

Question

what can be done (if anything) to keep that part white? I don't know if it is genetic or if it has to do with life style or a combination of things? I am just curious?

If you mean as opposed to red then I would advise enough sleep, staying away from drugs and alcohol and trying not to cough to violently.

If you mean as opposed to yellowish I have no idea.

I am sure that heredity has something to do with it
