A question on boston?

Question

is boston safe? and if so how safe is it

like on a scale of one to ten rate it safe wise.

I used to live there some parts thats kind of safe...if you're in downtown you're good but try not to end up in the wrong neighborhood because they're a lot of crazy people there......out of ten i give it a 6.5

Boston by itself is a tiny city compared to the scale to NYC or LA.  There are some bad spots within the city limits Mattapan, Roxbury, etc.  The metro Boston area is terrific though -- considering the city is so small, the towns surrounding Boston are pretty close to the city itself...best cities are Newton, Brookline...

the safest parts of boston is downtown. cities like dorchester, roxbury, mattapan. thats y i want to move so badly.

Boston is a quite safe city for an American city.

Most of Boston is safe,its also a great city to walk around and see the sights,during the day you can go just about anywhere during the evening try to stay in public well lit areas. I'd give it an 7.5
