It depends if you guys had been going out before that or not but, if the 6th grade dance is your first date with him then probably not. Have fun at the dance last year I had a blaste!!!!!

It depends on the dating atmosphere at your school, and how mature  the students are, but I would have to say not. I agree with everyone else, TAKE IT SLOW!
