New Jersey also gets Clevland's first round pick next year...

Explanations:

NJ- Get three expiring contracts. Get rid of vince.

Cle- Finally get another scorer to play next to LeBron. Think about it: They were shopping Varejao anyway, Snow & Jones hardly play, and VC is a definite upgrade over Wally.

Sac- They wanted Artest for Howard, now they get it, plus two expiring contracts.

Dal- They refused Artest for Howard, so I threw in Varejao.

Tell me this trade wouldn't benefit all four teams...

  1. as a die hard cavs fan id like to see that happen, i think VC still has some good years in him and i like mikki moore, but i dont see it happening. I think e-snows playing days are over.

  2. nope it wont especially NJ

  3. Nice! My mavs would love that.

  4. I like however I would have to give NJ a little more I know they want LeBron and are willing to clear up salary cap

But if they have no good talent LeBron will not want to go to the Nets and he could go to NYK

  5. New Jersey looses in this deal

  6. This is good trade:

    NBA TRADE RUMORS

  7. the mavs already said that they will not deal howard for artest so it wont happen!!!!!!!!!

  8. i like it....sounds good...

  9. no way the cavs would pay carter for four more years at 15 mil per.

  10. best trade i have ever seen on this site!

  11. for New Jersey having all these money and no talent will also not land them Lebron in 2010. Otherwise, I can't complain about other teams, Dallas doesnt want to part ways with Howard but they got Artest in return.

I would love to see Eddie Jones play here at Sacramento, he might just play 1 minute for my $60 seat but I'll pay for it once. Eddie is my favorite player before his decline.

  12. its good for the cavs but the nets will loose one of the greatest players on that team. they wont get anywhere with the players they just got

  13. I will give you just that: this would benefit all four teams. But this is still lopsided. First of all, the only good player the Nets get is Szczerbiak. Snow and Jones are overpriced. For the Cavs, Vince Carter hasn't been very productive, so he's also overpriced. Verajo is fine and > Moore. The rest is ALRIGHT, though you'd have to switch around some of the expiring contracts because they are still way to expensive and the only reason the Nets would do this is because they are trading 2 $20 mill players for three players for $20 mil and I think Wally > Carter.

Really this isn't as good as you might think it is if you analyze it team by team, though it looks MODERATELY fair.

  14. i think its great

  15. Not too bad.  I don't see the nets going for it.  As much of a headcase as artest is they need him.

  16. YES YES YES YES YES YES YES I WOULD DO 10 BACKFLIPS IF MY CAVALIERS COULD PULL THAT OFF!!!!!!!! but it wont happen
