A typical American family?

Bristol Palin pregnant, Levi Johnston a high school drop out and the right wing media spin saying the right is pleased with all this because they represent a typical American family. Typical of what and where was the parental guidance?

It's quite typical, the only thing is, the girl knows who the father is, they will get married and raise their child and not drop it off for some relative to raise.

They are not typical. I think the Palin family has many good qualities that keep them happy, although I have not yet seen them. I think maybe the children need more guidance, but I hate that Republicans are telling the world that theirs is a typical American family.

Yeah great role models.  Most teenagers get pregnant and get married to a high school drop out while their parents praise them for their adult choices.  What a joke!
