A very stupid question...?

a couple weeks back, I went to MCG to watch the match for the first time, my question is; what did the crowd yell when a player tackled the opponent?

when a player is holding the ball for too long (3 seconds) and he gets tackled the umpire calls 'ball' to award a free kick to the player who tackled him.

so......sometimes the umpires dont call it and the home crowd want a free kick so they remind the umpire lol

no seriously, or their is adrenaline running through their body coz their pumped! i wonder wat game u went to

Coz the player was most likely holding the ball or the crowd thought so and thought their team deserved a free kick.

There are several scenarios

1) Ball - where the ball carrier held the ball too long and was caught in a tackle and is penalised

2) Free - where the ball carrier incorrectly disposed of the ball and is penalised

3) In the back - the ball carrier is driven forward with a push to the back

4) Watchout - if the ball carrier is about to be tackled

5) You b&^%$#@ - generally a sledge

6) Crowd might yell out their nickname eg crowd used to yell

lol... it could have been anything... like get rid of it you D*** Head? or Smash Him... but for the 50% of normal people at the game were probly yelling BALLLLLLLLLLLL as in Holding the ball... the player must have been holding it for to long... u would know by there reaction after there is a ball up or a free kick... if it was a free kick to the tackler and they boo'd then they were not yelling holding the ball.. if they cheered after getting the free, then theres your answer!!! ive been to many games at subiaco and i yell out alot of c**p... as a 15 year old would...!!
