The ABS light comes on in my 95 blazer every once in a while. ive checked all the break pads and they are all in good shape. Why does the light still come on sometimes? could it be a sensor or what?

  1. ABS has nothing to do with pads or fluid level...its an electronic syster to help braking,,,there are sensors that send signal to computer which pulses brakes on and off to help avoid skids....my sensors cost 125 each and after buying 3 i pulled the fuse,,,no abs no problem...

  2. It's almost sure to be a wheel sensor. The ABS on that model didn't do much good anyhow. Half the people with lights just pull the main fuse under the hood.

  3. definitely a sensor, check the fuse perhaps
