ABT v.s NYCB?

Question

what does ABT teach do they teach vaganova or what and what does NYCB teach and wich do you think is best thank you P.S sorry I keep on asking this question over and over I just want to hear what other people have to say=^..^=

Well, I like NYCB the best.

But I don't know what they teach.

I think they both teach at least a little vaganova, maybe a little cecchetti at ABT.

i believe that ABT teaches vaganova and most likely another style although i'm not quite sure what.

NYCB studies the balanchine method.

i've always loved ABT but the one or two performances i've seen from NYCB have been exceptional. it's hard to compare them because they are two different styles. ABT does more classical stuff, i think, while NYCB does more contemporary/abstract pieces.
