AC Pulley on 2000 Dodge Stratus?

Question

Over a year ago I had work done on my car and was told my ac pulley was only being held on by 1 or 2 bolts/screws (whatever they are!). Problem is, I know nothing about cars and I can't remember if that's what it was called. I know it was the ac something and I think it was pulley, but when I look online it seems cheaper than what I remember him saying. Can anyone tell me if that's what it is and if so, how much those cost to get replaced? Thanks.

you say this happen a year ago.. why worry about it now....  it has not broken off and flew thru the hood and your ,motor is still running if the pulley was to have come off you will know it cause it will stop the car and do a lot of damage but why worry about something now really if was going to happen it would have ... really not so smart on your part when you have a problem you dont go a year before fixing.. drive to any shop and ask them to take a look at pulley you think you lost a s***w or bolt and please dont tell them its been a year you wil lose your money for sure...
