  1. You didnt quite provide enough information for a good answer.  What are your previous scores (separate the 4 tests)?  Do you REALLY need a 30?  Do you realize that would put you in the top 3% of the country?

Test prep companies (including mine) make their living from boosting student ACT scores by 3 points.  If you are below a 27 on practice tests you will have to be an exception.

  2. Based on personal experience, I can tell you the best way to get a better score is to practice everyday. You don't have to rush and cram in hours of study; just study around 30minutes to an hour a day. Don't just focus on one particular section. Make sure you are familiar with and comfortable with every part. If you have trouble with English or reading, try reading more books. Most people complain the ACT is too long to complete in a short time period. If you are a good reader, finishing should not be a problem. Finally, just remember to stay on task. Don't sidetrack while in the middle of study time.

    I went from a 29 to a 32.

  3. im actually gonna be a senior in the spring. i already took the SAT once and it was so boring and long. i just wanted it to end. i would say practice sentence structure. there will be a lot of questions like "which sentence sounds best?"
