What is a good book to help study for the ACT?

Also for those who have taken the test, did it seem harder than the SAT or easier?

  1. the kaplan ACT is pretty good

but there really isnt a true way to study for the ACT it just gives you test taking tips and some practice tests.

  2. http://www.actstudent.org/testprep/book....

It is the ACT prep guide made by the ACT test makers.

I took both and I thought that the ACT was easier.  I think I did better on the ACT. There is a chart comparing SAT/ACT scores here http://www.eguidancecounselor.com/act_sa...

  3. Many people like the ACT more than the SAT because the math is easier and worth 1/4 of the test instead of 1/3 of the test.

My suggestion to you is to practice, practice, practice. Get "The Real ACT Test Book", it contains 10 real ACT tests from the test makers. Do one test each week and try a few practice questions in between.

There are some tip and tricks to be learned in the Kaplan book, I suggest you take that out of the library. But the tests REALLY help, and give you answer explanations, so I suggest you buy that one.
