How likely is it for someone to raise their grade from a composite score of 31 to a composite score of 34 on the second time taking the test (assuming they study a little more)?

  1. It can be pretty easy depending on your subscores. Is one significantly lower than the others? If so, study that subject the most to raise it up. My math score was my downfall. I got a 31 altogether, but only a 27 on the math. If I had brought that up to a 30, I would have raised my composite to a 33.

So if just focus on your lowest  scores, and study, study, study!

  2. It varies of course between how much studying you do, the difficulty of the test, and the bell curve for that specific test date. I've heard of people raising from a 29 to a 35, so yes it is possible but I don't think it's likely. (not a lot of people can say they rose their score 3 points especially when it was a 31 to start with). But try it and you might pull it off.

    Good luck.

  3. That's a pretty big jump, especially since you're already at a pretty high lvl, however, I think a 32 would be likely with a little more studying and a 33 wouldn't be out of the question, but a 34 is a little bit of a stretch (but then again most colleges would certainly accept a 33, heck with the exception of the Ivy Leagues most would accept a 31).

  4. if you had one section that was way lower than the others, study more for that one, it is composite of sections, just like the SAT's so if you raise one grade several points it might move your overall score up enough to get you to a 33, but i think that is more than good enough, i got a 32 on mine and got in to Georgia Tech.
