AIM and cell phone help?! 10pts!?

Okay so this one time I signed onto AIM on my cell phone but then I accidentally turned off my phone really quick.

Now every time I turn on my phone, there's this pop up thing that keeps telling me I have a new instant message and I'm not even signed on!

How can I fix this?!

Have you tried opening AIM on your PC to see if that clears it?

Also you may be still signed into AIM without realizing it. Closing the application may not sign you out, you'd need to actually Exit.

All else fails you could remove the application - and reinstall it if its still necessary
