  1. tarps and rails yes

    not reuseable

    1 session per container

totally worth it unless you sandboard cuz sandboarding is cheaper

  2. We use that green indoor/outdoor carpeting on the approach to the jib and the box. No tarps or anything else..just the carpet.

It isn't reusable, but if it doesn't rain, we've found remants of the previous day's get still on the carpet and it seems to mix in OK with the new gel.

How long a container lasts will depend greatly on:

A: How long your approach is.

B: How much gel you put down each time.

C: How much you use it each session.

We have a 15 foot approach (not very big) and we put on just enough to cover the carpet to make it slick. We jump for maybe two hours. 4-6 skiers a session. We scoop out about a quart of the raw gel pellets a night...maybe 2 quarts if we ski a lot.

It's not bad to use. It beats spraying a carpet and your skis down with WD-40. I don't think it gets slick enough for me, but I have about 100 lbs over everyone else I ski with. Those in the 130lb range seem to do fine with the mixture we use. I think I just need a longer approach.

Try it out. It's worth it to say you used it once at least.

  3. Yes you need turf or tarps or something else that slides.

It isn't reusable but if it doesn't rain you might be able to get another session out of the left over residue on the turf or w/e.

I would say you could get 1-4 or 5 sessions out of a container depending on ow much you use and the size of your ramp.

I personally dont think its worth it but maybe just get one container to try it out!
