ANyone have any ideas vermont!?

MY husband and I want to travel to vermont sept/ oct and we live in central NY so we are looking for a nice BB to stay for a couple nights and visit a nice area to just have fun getaway. Anyone have any ideas? We are pretty active, like to hike, bike, shop, and steal a movie every now and then, but want something different and reasonably priced.

If you want to be anywhere near Killington I'd recommend Rutland also around Stowe would be good for your activities. Shelburne would also be nice as it's just outside Burlington.

Check out Shelbourne Vermont.  Great picturesque town with amuseumm and not far from Burlington.
