AT&T Data plans.?

I'm looking at getting the new iphone. I'm currently with AT&T and my current contract will have expired by then. I'm wondering what type of charges there will be if I will be on a family plan and want internet, texting, etc. Will there just be the 9.99 charge for talk and the 30 for unlimited data/text? Thanks.

Well actually At&t has not come out and really clarified this yet, but from what i have read they will be offering just a 30.00 a month unlimited data plan and this does not include texts like the old 20.00 a month plan did.  you will have to pay 5 buck more for 200 text. and i think i remember reading 20 unlimited text.  So its going to get a lot more expensive .

Yes, that is correct.

Except the $30 does not include SMS texting.

The old iPhone's $20 included 200 SMS.

But because AT&T is making the new iPhone $199 and $299, they need to make up the money somehow (since they're still paying Apple $425).

So SMS is separate.

$39.99 for unlimited internet and visual voicemail.
