ATTN: All min. wage workers?

Question

Who all has had their hours cut since the federally mandated raise in min. wage?

I sure have. I was even asked not to show for work last Friday (the day the raise went into effect). I'm now only working 9 hours this week. This is a huge reduction in hours compared to what I was working.

Correlation between raise in min. wage and reduction in hours? Let me know what you think.

Now I understand that there are many variables, but I still say, "Way to go, congress. Way to help out the min. wage worker." (sarcasm)

that is a normal business reaction -- instead of raising the price of the service or supply to cover the extra cost  -- just cut the number of hours worked!!!
