Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has hailed star winger http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 after last night’s impressive 0-4 win over Aston Villa, and has labelled the player as priceless.
The Welshman scored his first Premier League hat-trick as he scored 3 goals in the second half at Villa Park last night. The player was at the centre of all of Spurs’ attacks, and notched up his hat-trick in fine fashion.
Aston Villa had been fresh from an 8-0 thrashing against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 last weekend, and ended up conceding 4 at home last night. The Clarets have now conceded 12 goals in their last 2 games, and were punished by a rampant Spurs side.
Villas-Boas was quick to praise Bale and his performance, but was also stressing on the player’s stay at White Hart Lane. The Portuguese manager is confident that Bale will be staying put at the club, and his star performance last night will not hasten his
exit.
The Welsh winger has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, with a £50 million price tag put on him by Tottenham. Villas-Boas however insists that the club is not ready to part ways with Bale anytime soon. Speaking to reporters, he
said:
“We recognize he is one of our major assets for sure, but in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 there are not release clauses and a player of this dimension has a market value that is not attainable for most other clubs. His skills and talents put Gareth up there with the best and
he is improving every day. Also, he such a young player and has a wonderful personality.”
“His finishing is very accurate and he has been prolific in front of goal. He is enjoying getting into those positions and his left foot is wonderful. He is doing great things.”
The manager claims that many clubs will not be able to afford Bale’s salary and his services, and also refused to get carried away by last night’s win. Tottenham are now 4th on the league table, with 33 points to their name. Spurs will next travel
to the Stadium of Light on the weekend to face Sunderland, who defeated Manchester City last night in a shock result.
