Does anyone know of any good FREE software for avchd video format? Have a sony hd video camera and windows movie maker dosent do avchd..... please leave url to go to ...thanks

  2. The closest I can get you  is there is a free trial download of Sony Vegas... but it will expire.

    Yet another great reason to not use hard drive or flash memory or DVD based high definition camcorders... and stay with the better quality miniDV tape based DV and HDV stored videos.
