  1. most palces let you decorate but no nails, tape, glitter or confetti

  2. we were able to decorate my moms reception however we wanted. (sorry the 1st time i said my lol)

It's your day you can do it however you'd like.

If they have a team coming in to decorate then you be the boss :-)

tell them what you want, and where

    Congrats!!!!!

  3. i'd ask the comfort suites people

  4. Yes, generally....but within their guidelines.  Each one is independently owned, so I would check with the banquet coordinator at the particular Comfort Suites that you are thinking about booking.

I had my daughter's reception at our local Holiday Inn and they were extremely helpful.  They had candles we could use, or we could bring in anything else that we wanted.  They were willing to set things up and even place out our favors.

So....all you can do is to call and speak with the banquet coordinator at the hotel.  He/she will be able to answer all of your questions!

    Good luck!

  5. Comfort Suites is really the only one that can answer this question as they have specific guidelines one must follow, such as no open candles on the tables, or confetti on the tables, etc...

  6. It depends on the rules of the specific hotel/banquet hall.  Call them and ask.

Some places will not allow you to decorate, or they'll allow you to do it if you agree to clean it up.  Or, they won't let you use certain decorations (we can decorate our banquet hall, but we can't use confetti).  Other places won't let you decorate at all or require you to use their decorations.

Check with the hotel/banquet hall, they can answer that question for you.
