About cars turning ?

i have learn my auto 3rd driving lesson but my instructor say my turning to left n right is very bad how to i improve on it? a example was i turn left was my left and right hand at west n east while turning left my hand move to north and south, after tat my hand just stuck down there how to improve it or whats my mistake?

Approach teh turn slowly.  few ways to turn the steering wheel.

1. move hand without crossing over each other.  eg. turning left .. left hand move from 9 to 6 o'clock direction and then quickly, the lefet hand goes back to 9 o'clock to repeat the motion

2. hand crossing over each other ... left hand cross over the right hand side of the wheel .

Slow up while making turns and use the hand over hand method and you will do just fine......
