if black people were enslaved by cherokee then what country in africa did the black ppl left from before coming over here

Sorry, your question makes no sense.

White people imported African slaves to America, not the Cherokees.   Many Cherokees adopted a lifestyle similar to their white neighbors -- including owning slaves -- but they bought them from white slave traders, the same as their slave-holding white neighbors did, and there's no way to know where those slaves originally came from.

Actually, in some parts of Africa, blacks were enslaved by other blacks. However, slavery in Africa wasn't like the plantation slavery we are familiar with. In Africa, slaves were sometimes treated as members of the family and even sometimes married into the families of the owners. The slaves also sometimes even owned slaves themselves! The Cherokees tried to avoid being removed from their native land by adopting white customs, because they thought that if they adopted white customs, they would be accepted by white society and left in peace. Unfortunately, one of the white customs they picked up was slavery, and the adoption of white customs didn't save them from removal.

Kate , the very muilti racial  answer was best. now, the enslavement of INIDANS and Africans were done by the colonizers of north America in America. as for  the Gahonagees (Cherokee) they were told that you do not allow the "runaways" to live as part of the tribe, you must treat them like enslaved people , the slave masters got together and donated some enslaved people to the "Cherokees" and told them that these are to do your work for you. but, it not our way to misstreat people and so after awild the enslaved were Incorporated into the tribe. but we learn the "lesson" well, and the decedents of the enslaved are now being put out and off the tribal rolls, and so only the mixed white bloods can be on the "Cherokee tribal rolls.

Ok I am part Cherokee and the Cherokee did own slaves.But the Cherokee treated their slaves like members of the tribe.As the Cherokee saying goes If someone Cherokee loves you then you are Cherokee.

And as far as where black people came from, black slaves were imported from west Africa.I took African American history and I have read other books that state that black slaves come from Angola,Benin,Ghana,and Senegal.

I am also mixed with Haitian and Haitian people are of course of African descent and Haitians were told that their people come from Benin.Now as far as the tribes I'm not sure.

My Jamaican friends and my exchange student from Ghana said that Jamaicans originated from Ghana and she said some of the Jamaican ways are similar to the Ghanian ways.
