About donating an egg for woman?

my girlfriend wants to donate one of her eggs at a clinic and get reimbursed $4,000. now if she does this can she still have any kids and are there any dangers to the procedure? or any bad consequences? thanks for any help

She will have to take a hormone treatment, and this may give some discomfort, but for the rest, there are no bad consequences involved, and she will still be able to get children herself.

she can still have her own kids, I don't know about the money,as far as I know there are dangers to doing this and I think it's great she can do this, me- I would be wondering about this child forever

I could be wrong, but I heard in a Time article that one woman developed breast cancer and that there could be a potential link to the fertility drugs used in the clinic, whose long term effects are unknown. Do your research.

It is actually a very nice thing she will be doing for some woman who wants a child.  There shouldn't be anything bad that happens.  She should be fine.  And yes she will still be able to have kids.  This is only one egg of many!  Best of luck!
