About second deployment to iraq?

Somebody was telling me if you get deployed to iraq for the second time. You can get extra money somehow. Has anyone heard of such a thing or where to find out about it

It is becoming a possibility if the person was deployed over 15 consecutive months, and also if the person is covered under the stop loss policy. To the present day it is rather rare, but it is coming.

that's not true, you get extra money i think after you have been in iraq over a year continuously. but don't quote me on that.

There is no extra money for a second, third, fourth or fifth deployment.

The only thing certain about subsequent tours of duty there is that your chances of becoming either permanently disabled or killed are increased exponentially.
