About spestsides !! please help!!?

so what is pestiside??? I thought it is someting a farmers put while a plant or an animal grow...can a pestiside be that spry that they spry on foods to keep the food fresh too??....I just don't understand whats what ..so please explain to me thanks!!!

Just buy organic food.

Answer 1 ) The word PESTICIDE is composed of two words .

a) Pest = Unwanted , bothersome , troublesome organism ( from man' s point of view only )

b) Cide == Destruction . Just as suicide means self destruction!!! ( Sui = self in latin )

So pesticide means any agent ( Chemical , physical or biological ) that brings about the destruction of a particular "PEST " !!!

There are many types and sub types of pesticides -----

a) Herbicides = Killers of unwanted herbs

b) Insecticides = Insect killers

c ) Germicides = germ killers  etc .etc.

Answer 2 ) Yes pesticides are sprayed on plants and or animals but very carefully as NOT to cause any damage to them and to protect them from "PESTS".

Pesticides are NOT used for the growrh of the plants and animals .

Answer 3 ) Pesticides are NEVER SPRAYED  on ANY FOOD ARTICLE to keep it fresh . I repeat NEVER!!!

These are ALL  harmful chemicals that can cause irreversible damage to any body that takes them in the body by the way of mouth or nose ( Breathing )

So now a days there is a trend of NOT eating any thing; that has anything to do with pesticides .
