About synastry?

its suposed to be forutnate if your partners moon sign is the same as your sun and vice versa, but is this only true if the moon sign and sun signs are compatible? for example the woman has sun in aries and moon in aquarius and the man has sun in aquarius moon in aries. rather than something like sun in aries moon in cancer etc... because my parents have this trait except the signs are aquarius in capricorn... would this explain why they don't get along and simply aren't a good match despite this supposedly fortunate placement.

Actually if the sun in Partner A is conjunct The Moon in Partner B (and vise verse) can only be fortunate if the conjunction receives positive or soft aspects.

Conjunctions are not always good in synastry because this is the strongest aspect but it has to be modified by other aspects.

Its best to keep synastry simple .

For Men use : Sun, Asc, and Mars

For Women use: Moon, Asc and Venus

Then See how your mercury works together.

Now lets Say Your Moon is in Aries and your partners sun is in Aries and conjunct. But if one of you has a square to mars to the moon, then there will be a lot of arguments and maybe even physical abuse. The relationship will be purely based on s*x and that is the only thing that keeps it gong. It would men that you two will bring out the worst in each other because it may seem that you share the same negative traits.

Next, Lets say You moon is in Aries and Your Partners sun is in Aries and one of you receives a trine from Mars to the moon. Then there will be a whole lot of passion and warmth . A lot of energy and you two will never get enough of each other.

So a conjunction between the sun and moon can be Worst than a square from the sun and moon. Because at least you can work with a square . Or a conjunction can be a whole lot better than a trine because of the staying power it brings. It depends on the aspects.
