About the Irs stimulas check?

Question

Ok, I read a article that if you didn't recieve the money for having children, that you would in mid-July..How do you know if you will or even if you quailfy? It said no need to call, does anyone know? thank you.

One percent of those that are eligible to receive the benefit for their dependent children and used a tax soft ware will not receive checks in the first round of mailings.  This problem only involved a limited number of software providers most of which I never heard of.

visit IRS website www.irs.gov wheres my stimlulus and use the stimulus calculator, you must have a copy of your tax return to input requested information from your return to the calculator, it will provide  you with the amount you qualify for and when to expect the rebate, itt will also let you know if  you don't qualify.

I think you can get on the irs website and it will tell you if and when you are getting it. you will also get a letter, but I got my letter the same day I got my check. I got money for my son and he was born in 2006.

Take a look at your tax return and make sure that you included the dates of birth and the the box was checked stating that they were eligible for the child tax credit. If that box wasn't checked--and the children are otherwise qualfied )under 17 last year with a valid SSN)--the IRS will automatically be sending out separate checks by the end of July.

You should have gotten a letter a few weeks after the payment was recieved.  Mine said that children only qualify if they were born after Dec ? 1990.  And you can reach someone, you just have to be persistant.
