I might possibly have a abscessed tooth. Its the k-9 on the left side or either the one right beside it. I cant put any pressure on it, and eating on that side hurts like crazy. I have had a abscess before but does anyone have suggestions for a abscessed tooth. ( or a least i think it is becoming abscessed) Has anyone had the same symptoms and find out its a abscessed? Please dont tell me to go to the dentist because i cannot afford the dentist. I was told to go to the er but dont know if i will go or not??

Any suggestions

  1. if its abscessed heres the solution- extraction

abcessed tooth typically means down by the tip of the root. a root canal cannot fix this. you can then get a bridge or an implant, depending on your financial situation.

  2. If your tooth is abscessed, you need to be on antibiotics to take care of the infection. If the only way to get treatment is to go to the ER, go and get some help. Once the infection is controlled, you can save up to go to the dentist and have the tooth taken care of permanently. Until the dentist pulls the tooth or does a root canal, the infection (abscess) is likely to come back.
