Acid rain effects and causes!?

Question

Burgeoning human population growth has resulted in a number of pollution problems that are gaining increased attention. Burning of fossil fuels in automobiles and power plants produces excess CO2 and other gases, which stagnate as an insulating blanket in the atmosphere and raise the earth's temperature (the greenhouse effect). Landfills are becoming choked with soild wastes (a significant percentage of which consists of- almost unbelievably-disposable diapers). Hazardous and/or toxic byproducts of technology threaten generations to come. A particularly thorny problem for citizens of the Midwest is acid rain. What causes acid rain? What are the effects from acid rain?

acid rain is mainly caused by industry large amounts of a gas called sulfur dioxide dissolve in the moisture in the clouds, causing acid rain the causes could be erosion skin damage to humans if your caught out by it thats about it, and one of the higest ph values ever taken from acid rain was in scotland ans measured about 1.8 witch is very strong

Acid rain comes from factories spuing into the atmosphere, care exhaust, aircraft exhaust, decaying vegetation, decaying plastics, and other man made chemicals.

It causes things to degrade, it causes people to become sick. It kills small animals and contaminates our water supply. It kills crops, and ruins paint.  At it's worst, it will blister the human skin, and cause the lungs to fill with liquid, due to the burning of this tissue.

These chemicals combine in the atmosphere and become even more harmful.

And, did you know that much of what we get here in the US comes from China?  Yes, China, a country that now produces much of what we used to.  But they have no environmental standards to regulate them.  We have and that is much of the reason they got our work.  But we now get their bad atmosphere.

Acid rain falls all over the world and is the worst in places like Mexico City. No rules there either.  Then there is India and Pakistan.  Same thing, same results.

The C02/pollution goes into the clouds and then they have to back down so it drops it because it is in a form that can enter the clouds

and then what will happen is like dropping acid on somebody what will happen?

Umm another easier way to explain this why would they into the air is like a dwarf star is so hot that the iron turns into Liquid and then it gets into the air by the cycle and goes back down

A the causes: Acid rain is mostly caused by emissions due to human activity of sulfur and nitrogen compounds which react in the atmosphere to produce acids.

B the effects:Acid rain has been shown to have adverse impacts on forests, freshwaters and soils, killing off insect and aquatic lifeforms as well as causing damage to buildings and having possible impacts on human health.
