Acrylic nails... help?!?!?

Ok I went and got my nails done for the first time ever the other day, I know a lil behind the crowd huh lol anyways, I just got regular acrylic nails and had them painted, well its been about a week and I would like to change the color and was just wanting to do it myself... will it hurt the nails or make them not last as long if i take off the nail color myself using non acetone polish and repaint them or should i just wait till i go back to get them filled? Thanks for all your help =)

Of course you can change the color yourself with no harm to the acrylic nails. As you mentioned, use a non-acetone polish remover. Be sure to use a good quality basecoat to prevent any staining, and to help the polish last longer too. Finish the manicure with a topcoat of your choice, and you're all set!
