Acuvue Contacts - please answer?

Does Acuvue Contacts come with a case?

I got 2 boxes with the contacts, but is there supposed to be a case. Or do you just store it in the things iwth the aluminum flap, where the contacts are originally found.

-i bought it from my doctor.

Your eye doctor should have given your a free case to start you out, but you can buy them at places like Walmart or any drug store. You have to store them in saline solution because they will literally dry out and shrivel up. If you don't store them in a closed container they will get dirty and contaminated and could give you an eye infection. Just go buy you a case to store your contacts, keep it clean, keep them wet and be safe.

No. I have Acuvue and they they don't come with a case.

the contacts solution (that you buy separately) almost always comes with a case made for storing contacts.

Don't use the small cases that the contacts come in because they can't seal again and aren't made for storing

make sure to use new solution every time you use your contact to avoid infection

Hmmm, it's surprising they didn't make sure you had a case with them...pretty bad service !

So, now you will have to run down to a pharmacy and buy a case for them...you can't store them in the little containers they came in.

I hope they gave you some solution at least ?

You should be using a multi purpose solution like Opti Free, or Renu...very often there is a free case attached to the bottle of solution.

They don't usually come with a case although it would have been polite for your doctor to give you a free one. You'll have to buy one now or go back to your eye doctor and ask for a free one as he/she should have given you one.
