Question:

Adhesive residue?

I have removed a self-adhesive vinyl laminate flooring that was stuck down but the adhesive has remained, making the floor extremely sticky. As it is going to be some weeks before new flooring is laid, how can I remove this residue to make the bathroom usable?

  1. You will have to use a suitable solvent, go to your builders supplies they will advise you

  2. Lay polythene dust sheeting over.

  3. I would just lay out a cheap vinyl tablecloth.

  4. i pulled all the linoleum up in my kitchen and had the same issue. i noticed that the dust that collected on the floor pretty much took care of the "sticky" issue, but if you want to get it up completely you can use "goo-gone". i got it at home depot, squirt it on, let it sit, wipe it up, it really works.
