Admission to UIC?

I have 2.52 gpa but i dont know my class rank. I took the act and i got a 22. I am going taking AP classes such as ap Calculus and Euro AP in my senior year and i have took honor classes. I have already 3 yrs of math 3 yrs of history, 2 yrs of language, 3 yrs of science and 3 yrs of english. I will be taking in my senior year calc. euro, english, and an elective. So i will have 4 yrs of math, 4 yrs of history , 4 yrs of english 2 yrs of language and 1 yr of elective. Could i be accepted into UIC because im really worried.

Your ACT score is fine for UIC; however, your GPA and class rank is significantly lower than average for UIC.  You're on the bubble.  You'll need to write a personal statement and apply early because UIC uses rolling admissions.

That is not great, but UIC is not a very selective school. Even though you are in the bottom half of your school, they will see that you have taken the more challenging courses so you had to work a lot harder than a student taking regular classes to achieve that GPA. Other than that, your ACT is a little on the low side (maybe you can retake it and do better).

You didn't mention what your extracurricular activities were, or what program you want to go into at UIC (the premed program is a lot more difficult to get accepted into). But, assuming that you are not applying to that program, and you have a decent amount of extracurriculars, I would say that you will probably get in.

you're a little below the average admitted student, but not totally off the charts.  you'll have to pay special attention to your personal statement and consider retaking the ACT.  On average, admitted students to UIC have a 3.0 gpa and score about a 24 on their ACT.

Yes, you have a great chance. UIC is not as competitive as people believe it to be. I know people with lower ACTs than you and still got accepted, and they were out of state. Also, their GPA was a little higher than yours. You have a shot, a good one at that.
