Adobe Illustrator Help!?

Im trying to install Adobe Illustrator and im up to the system check but it says i need 512 MB of RAM, I checked my free space in both my C & D Drive and I have over 3GB free space in both? What to do? Thanks!

  1. Your C& D drives are HARD DRIVE space not RAM ( Read Only Memory) of which you only have 512MB of. Ideally you would want 1GB of RAM for Illustrator as it as a fairly bloated application compared to what the old Freehand from Macromedia used to be.


  2. What are your machine's specifications?

    BTW 3 GB may not be enough for a full installation of Adobe software.
