If you were also adopted in Kansas, then you can just apply to receive your original birth certificate.  Kansas has never sealed birth records from adopted citizens.  Your original birth certificate is the one that would have your first mother's name on it.  It may also have your first father's name on it, if your first mother listed it.

The Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services may contact the birth parents at the request of an adopted adult for any reason and at the request of adoptive parents of a minor for medical information. The Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services may contact the adopted adult for any reason and the adoptive parents of a minor in the event of a health or medical need. Information will not be given to the birth parents without the consent of the adoptive parents of a minor adoptee or the adopted adult.

An adopted adult may receive all information in the file.
