Adoption by grandparents?- change in citizenship?

My grandparents are very old they want to adopt me. I am 25 year old can they adopt me? They have been living in Germany for past 10 years but are British Nationals/ Citizens, after adoption can i get British Citizenship? Please reply.

They can adopt you, however, you will have to contact a consolate or lawyer to determine how to do it across country lines.  I do not know whether you can get British Citizenship given that adult adoption is primarily an issue of inheritance.

i sorta think you can but you have to find out call the british embassy and find out there.
