Adoption in Pittsburgh,Pa?

Question

We are looking to adopt a child-as young as possible-through foster care or another agency that has minimal fees. (At this time we are not interested in waiting to have a birth mother choose us and then pay $15000 to her and/or the agency.)

We would like to adopt an already wating infant/toddler/preschooler.

Any experiences with this-helpful hints-agencies that would fit our needs, etc. are appreciated.

Contact Pennsylvania's Dept of Human Services, Children & Youth Division.  You should be able to find more information at your county's website or in the phone book.  We have had great experiences with the PA division of Children & Youth, despite our negative experiences with NJ's division.
