Advice for a beginning surfer

All advice welcome. I'm on the east coast in Florida.

Practice, practice, practice.. It's a frustrating sport and the only thing you can do to get better is to practice.  Also, it helps asking more experienced surfers for tips as you are there.  Physical learning along with visuals helps a ton.
