  1. Don't worry about your period! I had a friend who didn't have hers till sophomore year. Just be happy that you don't have it. It's a pain!

Just study for academic. Make memory clues from something you enjoy so it's easier to remember. Some classes you will not like and your grades will suffer from it. Sophomore year I personally hated biology; I had it at 7 AM. You will suffer through classes but then after the test you realize it wasn't that hard. So as you learn think of that and it makes it easier since you know one day when you look back it'll be easy.

For social advice, be yourself. In high school, friends do turn on friends. People will be jerks and all the high school drama will ensue.

  2. Oh man... i wish i never had my period. It sucks especially when ur in highschool cuz u have to go the bathroom after like every 2 classes. When your on your period, make sure you take moltrin or something to take away the pain that your period will give you. There's a possible chance you will get your period this year. My mom got hers when she was 17 or 18

And on Acedemics... Just ask yourself why didnt get great grades freshmen year. Change your habits for school if you wanna get higher grades.

Socially, you seem to know what your doing on that ;)

And don't worry about the freshmens. Some of em can be cool but some may wanna act like they know it all lol Don't worry about them too much.

  3. Hey! I'm Andrea.

    Incoming Senior in Miami, Florida!

Well, don't worry about your period!

I would kill to be you right now!

Just roll with it, if you're 16 you might want to ask your pedritician.

Carry a pad just in case in your bag!

Um, the freshmen will always be that, freshmen.

They might try to act mature and mean, but remember that they don't know the flow of things so they are putting on a mask.

You're a sophomore and have more experience than they do, so just be civil, nice, and polite.

If all fails, remind them they're the FRESHMEAT, that always puts them in their place with a red face~ :)

Most of all though, help them out, remember how you felt last year, so just be helpful to them.

My best academic advice is to get a rigorous work load. Get challenging classes.

AND PLEASE, GET AN AGENDA. It soooo easy with one. They sell them everywhere.

My sophomore year was easy, easy. Just make sure you do all your work and keep up your grades, your hardest year awaits you- JUNIOR YEAR.

Colleges and Us are looking at your whole high school career so do well in classes!

Socially? Just be yourself girl, try not to get too fixated on guys, as they will only distract you.. but HAVE FUN. :) Have a steady BF.. and lots of friends as they keep you grounded. :)

AVOID SHADY SCENES AND PARTIES .lol

    BE WELL :)

  4. There are girls who are seventeen and still haven't gotten their periods, it just depends on the person. Yours will come eventually, don't rush it because most people who have it wish they never even got it in the first place, lol.

Academically, just try and organize a little more time into your schedule for studying (easier said than done, I know). Maybe if you get free time in school you can go to a study hall with a bunch of friends and do your homework together, that way you'll not only be socializing but you can help each other out with your work too.

As for the freshman...don't worry about them. Maybe some of them look older than you because of the make up they put on but concerning yourself with others' looks isn't going to help you at all, it's just going to give you unnecessary anxiety. If any of them gives you a hard time, just ignore them.
