Advice to do good in school?

can i have some advice on how to get good grade in school?

-Get extra help and tutoring when needed

Listen carefully to the teacher's directions and follow them. Ask questions if you're not sure about something. When you study material, get in a quiet place and speak out loud the material you need to know (without looking at it). If you can't talk about it, you don't know it well enough for tests. Do any extra credit assignments that are given, and try your best to do excellent work consistently. Think about actually learning the material instead of just getting good grades.

Be organised!..Always have texts etc. that you need for the day. Arrive at class on time...maybe review the previous lesson for a few minutes to refresh your memory on what you were doing.

Be attentive in class....never mind what others are doing....they are either clever enough to pass without much work, or else they are likely to fail.

Join in discussions, activities and social clubs...you don't want to become a Nerd.

Revise the day's work when you get  home, even if you don't have homework  or an assignment set.

When you do get an assignment, start thinking about it straight away...ask others for ideas early on...and jot down notes etc...this will help when you do start to write it....Think of an intro paragraph and a topic sentence. Make sure you understand exactly what the assignment is asking you to do and address all the points.

Don't forget to reference any quotes, websites etc so you can't be accused of plagiarism.

Take an interest in everything around you...it is a weird and wonderful world....you can never learn everything, but you need to know how to find out everything you need to know. School days are usually the best days of your life.....go to it !...good luck  and have a great time

Well, sitting in front of the class or at least very close to the teacher is a good idea, because that kind of forces you a little bit more to pay attention. Besides that, you can try starting to study like 1 week before an exam, by this I mean just a little, like reading the topics one time each night before u sleep, and study hardcore like 2 days before, and then you'll already have an idea of what it is all about.

I think that should do, just try to pay attention in class and it should be fine :)

You have to study hard at the very start, since everything is build on that.  I you start slow, you will always be playing catch up.

How well you want to do is reflected in how much effort you are willing to put into improving. There is no miracle way of getting better grades in school. you have to study, get sleep, and pass things in ON TIME. Remember if you keep doing what you have always done , you will keep getting what you have always got.

there are lots of ways to do good in school, these are the ff:

1. organize your things.

2. take down notes, especially the information that is being said by the teacher.

3. read more. read two to three chapters and look for other books because you will not get all the information needed by using one reference.

4. listen to class discussions.

5. work with what is difficult when it comes to homework.

6. make sure that you're done studying before associating with others.

7. study lessons before and after the class.

8. study lessons in a comfortable place.

:D correct grammar might help...I think you mean "well" in school.  Anyway, the key to getting good grades is to pay attention and do your homework. If you don't understand something, you have to make sure you get it, or you'll never learn and you'll never get good grades. Good luck!
