Advise on a good digital camera??

Question

can anyone advise a resonably priced digital camera thats pretty straight foward to use?? im going to france for a year so ill be taking loads of pics. but im pretty clueless when it comes to technology so id like something easy enough to use.

Any point and shoot digital camera of at least 5 megapixels and a 2 gig sd memory card should surfice .

i have a pink polaroid i735. it supports breast cancer too, and if you are gonna be in france then that means that you'll be taking a lot of outside pictures- right? well, my camera to be honest i don'tt like the way the pictures look indoors- but it takes really good pictures outside and when things are really bright

& it was really cheap. i think it was about 80 dollars. & its not complicated to use either!

The Canon PowerShot SD750 is a great camera for your needs. It's 7.1 megapixels, easy to use, and take great shots. The LCD screen is huge, and there are a bunch of cool modes and color effects to suit your fancy. It's retail price is $200 but you can probably find it cheaper somewhere on the internet.
