  1. Well if you are 16 you better hurry up and learn to spell or they won't even hire you at Mc Donalds dipping french fries .

  2. Although I do miss those years.  The wisdom that comes with age and the stability of family life far outweigh the joys of being a teenager.

  3. Believe me, you have a long time before you get old, and then when you do you will appreciate the wisdom and knowledge that comes along with aging.  Don't be afraid, you have alot of time to have fun.

    Maybe what you are experiencing is coming to the place that you have to answer for all your actions, answer to God.  Maybe God is trying to move you into a deeper level and commitment with Him.  He may be calling you into a ministry now, and not waiting until you get older.

  4. your 16! thats it you have a whole life ahead of you to enjoy. arent you ready to go to college? go to the club? buy drinks on our own? just enjoy life one day at a time

  5. You don't have to be afraid of the future. Think of it as an adventure that just keeps getting better and better.  I'm 16 too and this year I wasn't really looking forward to my birthday. But as the day came closer God reminded me that in this new year He still has an amazing plan for my life and the same is true for you. Instead of thinking about getting older, focus on the reassurance that Jesus loves you and has an awesome plan for you. Happy birthday, my friend, and may the blessing, love, and the peace of God always be with you. :)

  6. Just think, if you enjoy life this much when you are in school and living with your parents, imagine how much you'll enjoy it when you have the freedom of owning a car or choosing where you live, or getting married!*wink*

  7. ah...to be young and unable to communicate again...

  8. Look at it like this you young whipper snapper.  Life has given me a fourth try at being 16 again.  I guess Life thinks I wasn't wise enough the last three times.  Later gator!

  9. Haha, just imagine if you got your first grey hair at 22, and your hairline started receding at 24. 26 you're 6'3" and weigh a paltry 170, with girl arms and a bird chest. Live it up while you can.

  10. Ok, just remember that there are millions of 16 year olds out there going through the very same thing you are going through!!

  11. ... Dude, you are 16. It's not like when you hit 20 you will get grey hair. Relax man.

  12. Ecclesiastes 12

    1 Remember your Creator

    in the days of your youth,

    before the days of trouble come

    and the years approach when you will say,

    "I find no pleasure in them"-

    2 before the sun and the light

    and the moon and the stars grow dark,

    and the clouds return after the rain;

    3 when the keepers of the house tremble,

    and the strong men stoop,

    when the grinders cease because they are few,

    and those looking through the windows grow dim;

    4 when the doors to the street are closed

    and the sound of grinding fades;

    when men rise up at the sound of birds,

    but all their songs grow faint;

    5 when men are afraid of heights

    and of dangers in the streets;

    when the almond tree blossoms

    and the grasshopper drags himself along

    and desire no longer is stirred.

    Then man goes to his eternal home

    and mourners go about the streets.

    6 Remember him—before the silver cord is severed,

    or the golden bowl is broken;

    before the pitcher is shattered at the spring,

    or the wheel broken at the well,

    7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from,

    and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

    8 "Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. [a]

    "Everything is meaningless!"

    9 Not only was the Teacher wise, but also he imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs. 10 The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true.

    11 The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails—given by one Shepherd. 12 Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them.

    Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.

    13 Now all has been heard;

    here is the conclusion of the matter:

    Fear God and keep his commandments,

    for this is the whole duty of man.

  13. I hope you change your mind by the time you're 30. It'll definitely be time to grow up by then.

    I don't know; teenage years are usually pretty turbulent. I'd think you'd want to grow up.
