  1. African Greys are not loud, easy to train, messy pretty much and they love attention.  Fast in learning. Love to talk.

  2. Greys are fun to have and will imitate any sound they hear litterally. they eat the same fruits and veggies ring necks do and alot more fun because you can handle the greys. But be warned greys are known to fly away for ever if taken outside with your trust. My sister lost hers that way thinking just because her macaw and cockatoo would play outside unattended that the grey would too. WRONG! If your birds wings arent clipped and you take it outside, whose fault is it if the bird flys away forever? Probably only to get hungry enough to find another human to beg for food if other wild birds dont kill it first.

  3. No bird is EASY to train but if they like the trick or word they will be alot faster.  They are not very loud as they do have a light natural call that is rather pleasent.  Yes they are a litle messier as they have a tendancy to throw food out of their cage(my dogs love this).  Greys do need atention or something to play with as they bore very easily and this can lead  to feather picking

  4. they prefer to be called African American greys when they come to the us
