Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero is confident that his side can win the Premier League, following their win over Manchester United.
City took on United, with three points separating the two teams. However, following a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184 goal, the Blue side of Manchester went on to beat their local rivals by one goal to nil, as they made their way to the top of the league table.
Both the teams from Manchester are now level on points, but a superior goal difference is keeping City ahead of United at the moment.
Sergio Aguero seems to have gotten a little too delighted with his sides win over United and the striker believes that his side can now go on and secure the Premier League crown.
However, the Argentine forward went on to thank the City fans, for the support that they gave the team throughout the season and believes that it is because of them, that City have made it as far as they did.
When talking about the team and their performance, the striker used his Twitter account to state:  "It's a great pride to play along so many players that give it all for the team. We knew that we had to be decisive to win the derby"
"We kept our focus throughout the match and there's no doubt we deserved the victory. We couldn't let this opportunity go.”
"I also wanted to thank our supporters - you kept us motivated throughout the whole match. Keep it up."
However, the forward admitted that the team needed to maintain their focus since they were now in the driver’s seat to see out the rest of the league season.
He added: "There's still challenges ahead but we all wish for the title. This is how we'll get it - working together and keeping focus.”
"I've told you a few days ago and I'll say it again! We'll fight to the end. Now more than ever. C'mon, @MCFC! #Together."
Should City avoid any slip ups in their last two league games, they are more than likely going to go on and claim the Premier League title this time around.
