ain't this the sport that Dirk Nowitzki's daddy played on and what is this sport like???

Yes, Dirk's dad played for the Germany National Team in the 1992 Olympics for Team Handball.  Team Handball is like soccer played with your hands on a basketball court.  A nice hodge-podge sport that's a lot of fun with very little contact and is relatively easy to play.
