Air conditioner?? Why oh why?

Ok, so a few weeks ago before the sun started shining and it was very chilly, in the office they had the fan heating on and always complaing its cold. Now its hot,! right away they are like quick ,quick put the air con on its too hot, why not just enjoy the heat since you wanted it so much. Ok fair enough if it was too hot to stand which its not, if they left the door open a small bit cos there are no windows only a small roof window that does not open, but what i do not get is its now the same temp in office as it was a few weeks ago when it was cold outside?????? so its just contradicition

It is the humidity that matters, not just the heat. If it was less humid you wouldn't want the air conditioner at the moment.

The other problem is it is staying hot at night which makes it difficult to relax and sleep.

A thermostat that adjusts the temperature for you is the way to go. Then put a lock on it so it can't be reset to everyone's whim.

Personally I would much rather be cold than hot. Its easy to put on jacket if you get cold but you can't just take your shirt off at the office. Maybe you just work with a bunch of people that would rather be cold than hot.
