Aircraft overspeed?

Question

On MS Flight Simulator 2002 when I take off with a large commercial aircraft say a 747, I'll be rising steadily for a few minutes then suddenly I get an overspeed warning and moments later the aircraft explodes. How do I avoid this?

Either reduce the power produced by the engines by retarding the throttles, or pitch up by pulling back on the yoke (joystick) until you are going slower.  As someone else mentioned, you should also retract your gear and flaps after takeoff, which will allow you to go faster before the over-speed warning goes off, but there is still a maximum airspeed even with them retracted.

You can probably turn off the crash feature in the options somewhere so you can overspeed and not crash

As you climb out you need to reduce your throttle setting and also control your nose up pitch.  You may be climbing too shallow.  If you are letting the auto-pilot get you to altitude you are going to have to monitor the airspeed a lot more.  The default setting of 1,800 ft per min. is pretty shallow and will run up the airspeed quick.  You can also of course change that setting.  After you pass though a 1,000ft pull the throttels back to 95-90% n1.  You will need to control your pitch.  Your initial climb will bee somewhat steep, but then you will need to lower the nose as you get higher.

use the autopilot feature to slowly adjust the speed. you should keep it just under the overspeed .

and it's usually measured in nots and not kph/mph so the speeds are quite diffrent.

Try retracting your undercarriage and flaps as the overspeed indicates that you have these down and going too fast that it'll cause them to be damaged.

Yes I to use the autopilot to control speed just less than the max overspeed limit.

Flaps are important to be up once take off has been established

i assume you to use 100% throttle on the engine when take off yes?, you should increase it step by step. depend on your aircraft's speed acceleration.
