Alaskan Cruise with Northern lights!?

I am trying to find a Cruise to Alaska where I can also be able to view the northern lights?

You are not likely to see the northern lights on a cruise.  The cruise season is mid-May through mid-September only.  The Northern lights are more frequent in late autumn through early spring, i.e., October through March.  It has to be very dark to see them and during the cruise season, especially the summer months, it does not get dark or  dark enough for very long.

You not able to see the northern lights from any cruise. The best viewing area is up around the Fairbanks area in the fall season. They have bus tours setup for this event as it is a rather big deal and people come from all over the world to see them. You might want to change that cruise from Alaska to Norway.

The spectacular Northern Lights (Aurora borealis) are visible between November and March by clear weather.

I am sorry to say that you will not be able to see the lights on the AK cruise. The cruise season is from May to September. During these months, there is little to no night time. The weather has to be within a certain could temperature range and clear skies to view. That cannot be achieved in the spring and summer months.

Also, when the time is good to be on a boat to view the lights, the ocean is usually frozen or unsailable.

AVOID Alaskan Cruises.

If you REALLY want to see Alaska - fly up there and spend time in the communities doing things other than buying TShirts.

If you want to see Northern Lights - go to the interior during the winter time when the nights are the darkest.  One can see Northern lights about 5 days a week in the winter when the sky is clear.
